Youth System First Aider
Help Keep Our Young Players Safe
Risborough Rugby Club is looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Youth System First Aider to support our growing Youth and Colts programme.
Player welfare is at the heart of everything we do, and we're seeking a volunteer who can provide first aid cover during training sessions and matchdays, ensuring our young players can enjoy rugby in a safe and supportive environment.
Working alongside our coaches, volunteers and safeguarding team, you'll play an important role in promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of every player.

Key Responsibilities
Provide first aid cover at Youth and Colts training sessions and matchdays.
Assess and respond to injuries and illnesses in line with first aid best practice.
Maintain and restock first aid kits and medical equipment.
Keep accurate records of injuries and incidents.
Work with coaches and parents to ensure appropriate follow-up care where required.
Support the club in maintaining a safe playing environment.
Promote player welfare and follow RFU safeguarding and medical guidance.
We're Looking For Someone Who
Holds a valid First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid in Rugby Union (EFARU), or equivalent qualification, or is willing to complete the required training.
Is calm, confident and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is passionate about supporting young people in sport.
Enjoys working as part of a friendly volunteer team.
Shares our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for every player.
