Youth System Coaching Coordinator

Risborough Rugby Club is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Youth System Coaching Coordinator to support the development of coaches across our Youth and Colts programme.
As one of Buckinghamshire's most ambitious grassroots rugby clubs, we're committed to delivering high-quality coaching and an outstanding player experience. This volunteer role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coach development, mentoring volunteers and creating a consistent coaching programme throughout our youth pathway.
Working alongside the Head of Youth Rugby and age-grade coaches, you'll help ensure every player benefits from safe, enjoyable and player-centred coaching.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help develop the coaches who will inspire the next generation of players and strengthen the future of Risborough Rugby Club.
Key Responsibilities
Support and mentor coaches across the Youth and Colts sections.
Help implement a consistent coaching philosophy throughout the youth pathway.
Coordinate coaching resources and seasonal development plans.
Assist with the recruitment, induction and retention of volunteer coaches.
Encourage and support coaches in achieving RFU coaching qualifications and continuing professional development (CPD).
Observe training sessions and provide constructive coaching feedback.
Promote collaboration and the sharing of best practice between age groups.
Ensure coaching standards align with RFU guidance, safeguarding and player welfare.
Support the delivery of coach education evenings and development workshops.
We're Looking For Someone Who
Has experience coaching age-grade rugby or supporting volunteer coaches.
Is passionate about developing coaches and helping young players thrive.
Has excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Enjoys mentoring and building positive relationships.
Holds (or is willing to work towards) relevant RFU coaching qualifications.
Shares our ambition to build one of Buckinghamshire's leading youth rugby programmes.

Time Commitment
Sunday mornings during the rugby season.
