Risborough Rugby Club is looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Youth Parent Coordinator to help strengthen the connection between the club and the families within our Youth and Colts programme.

This volunteer role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a positive impact behind the scenes. You'll play a key role in welcoming new families, encouraging parent involvement and helping create a supportive, inclusive environment where young players can thrive.

Working closely with the Head of Youth Rugby, coaches and safeguarding team, you'll help ensure parents feel informed, valued and engaged throughout the season.

Whether you're a current parent, former player or simply passionate about community sport, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome new players and their families to Risborough Rugby Club.
Act as the main point of contact for parents and guardians within the Youth and Colts sections.
Support the onboarding of new families by sharing key club information and answering general queries.
Encourage parents and guardians to volunteer and become actively involved in club life.
Coordinate parent volunteers for matchdays, events and fundraising activities.
Communicate important updates regarding fixtures, training sessions and club events.
Support the organisation of youth presentations, social events and community initiatives.
Work closely with coaches, volunteers and the committee to maintain effective communication with families.
Promote the club's values, safeguarding policies and codes of conduct.
Help foster a welcoming, inclusive and family-friendly environment across the Youth and Colts programme.

Is approachable, friendly and enjoys working with families.
Can build positive relationships with parents, volunteers and coaches.
Is proactive and able to coordinate volunteers and club activities.

Is passionate about supporting the growth of grassroots rugby.
