Youth System Coach
Inspire the Next Generation at Risborough Rugby Club
Risborough Rugby Club is looking for enthusiastic and committed Youth Rugby Coaches to join our growing coaching team.
This is a part-time volunteer role, perfect for anyone with a passion for rugby and helping young people develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
About the Role
As a Youth Coach, you'll deliver fun, engaging, and inclusive training sessions, helping players develop both on and off the pitch. You'll work alongside a supportive coaching team to create a positive environment where every child can thrive, regardless of experience or ability.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate coaching sessions.
Support players in developing their rugby skills and confidence.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.
Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Work closely with fellow coaches, volunteers, and parents.
Follow RFU coaching and safeguarding guidelines.
Assist with Sunday morning training and fixtures throughout the season.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
Passionate about developing young players.
Positive, encouraging, and approachable.
A strong communicator and team player.
Reliable and committed to regular Sunday morning sessions.
Previous coaching or playing experience is desirable but not essential.
