Risborough Rugby Club is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and help showcase one of Buckinghamshire's most ambitious grassroots rugby clubs.

This volunteer role is perfect for someone with a passion for social media, sport and community engagement. You'll play a key role in promoting our teams, events, players and sponsors while helping attract new members, volunteers and partners to the club.

Working closely with the committee, coaches and volunteers, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content that reflects the club's values both on and off the pitch.

Whether you're an experienced marketer, a university student looking to build your portfolio, or someone passionate about sport and digital media, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the club's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn.
Create and schedule engaging content, including graphics, photos and videos.
Promote matchdays, training sessions, social events and club initiatives.
Produce live matchday updates, team news and post-match content.
Highlight player achievements, volunteers, sponsors and community partnerships.
Develop campaigns to recruit new players, volunteers and sponsors.
Monitor social media performance and provide regular reports on engagement and growth.
Ensure all content reflects the club's brand, values and safeguarding policies.

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has experience managing social media platforms for a business, sports club or organisation.
Is confident creating engaging written and visual content.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Enjoys photography, videography or graphic design (desirable but not essential).
Can work independently while collaborating with volunteers and committee members.
Shares our ambition to grow the club and strengthen its presence within the local community.
