Risborough Rugby Club is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Touch Rugby to work alongside the Club Development Officer to grow and develop our Touch Rugby team.

This is a part-time volunteer role, ideal for someone who enjoys rugby, meeting new people, and helping build something from the ground up.

Our Touch Rugby programme is a new and growing part of the club, open to players aged 16+ of all experience and fitness levels.

About the Role

Working closely with the Club Development Officer, you will help grow participation in Touch Rugby and develop the team into an established part of Risborough RFC.

You will help organise sessions, encourage new players to get involved, support the development of the team, and help create a fun, social, and welcoming environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take an active role in building a new team without the responsibility of running the wider club programme.

Help establish Touch Rugby as a permanent part of Risborough RFC.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

Passionate about rugby and bringing people together.
Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
Organised and reliable.
Comfortable communicating with players and volunteers.
Interested in growing a new team and community.
A positive team player who can work closely with the Club Development Officer.
Previous rugby, touch rugby, or coaching experience is desirable but not essential.

Time Commitment

Weekly Touch Rugby sessions during the season.
Occasional fixtures, social events, and club activities.
Flexible additional time to support team development where possible.

What You'll Gain

Extensive club perks & discounts.
The opportunity to help build a new team from the ground up.
The chance to meet new people and grow the local rugby community.
Develop leadership, organisational, and team-building skills.
Be part of an ambitious and growing grassroots rugby club.
Ongoing support from the Club Development Officer and wider club.
